Every Christmas / New Year the Coroglen Tavern features major New Zealand and overseas artists (rock, reggae, dance, etc). We change from a quiet country tavern into an exciting vibrant music concert venue, with 2000 people in the beer garden. For the 12 days over the holiday season, the tavern is really buzzing. And we do it again each long weekend during the year. We have an awesome stage, with a large covered area. We have bands that appeal to all ages, so there will be something that will interest you. Plenty of bars and good food. Our friendly staff will give you great service. Check out our website to see what will be coming this year.
The Tavern is not only famous for the bands that have played here, but also with musicians who want to do a gig here. The Flow, a band based in London (with two guys from Pukekohe and three Brits) were interviewed by the New Zealand Times in London.... see their interview here.
